These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of any product or service from Style By Design.
These Terms & Conditions are applicable to any booking. A booking is confirmed and a contract is undertaken as soon as we begin work on a style plan.
A non-refundable desposit is
If an order is cancelled the initial 50% is non refundable plus a further 25% of any additional monies paid to cover any work already completed at the time of cancellation. Once your order has been sent to print then no monies will be refunded. You can either decide to receive your stationery as per your order or we will recycle what has been printed.
These terms are still relevant if Knots & Kisses have to cancel an order because the client has not met deadlines agreed and set at the time of booking. In the course of a booking Knots & Kisses may set a date by which we need to receive all wording / guest names or any other information by in order to proceed with the booking or get the order to you by a certain date. If these deadlines are not met and it is not possible to move your booking to another date then Knots & Kisses has the right to cancel the booking and retain 75% of any monies paid, as per normal cancellation policy, to cover any work completed at the time of cancellation, any materials already ordered and loss of earnings due to being unable to take on another order during the time period scheduled to make your order.
Postal delivery charges are non refundable.
Proofs are produced for the client to check the layouts, design and wording etc prior to printing. Including in the cost of your stationery is up to 4 sets of proofs, so please make sure you group any changes you wish to make into as few instances as possible. We find that 4 sets of proofs is usually more than adequate, however, if you do go over this number, then you will be charged an additional £15 per set of proofs.
Knots & Kisses cannot be held responsible for any typing or image errors noticed after the proofs have been checked and client approval given. Any amendments required must be submitted via email . Proofs will be in PDF format.
Any amendments made after final approval and printing will be charged accordingly.
If you are having pre-printed guest names you will not receive a proof of each individually named invitation, therefore please check any guest name list you provide to Knots & Kisses carefully before sending as guest names will be copied directly from this list. Knots & Kisses cannot be held responsible for the mis-spelling of any Guest’s name. If an error has been made on your part and you realise once you have received your stationery and would like any reprints then please be aware that, although we will make every effort to reprint for you at the same cost as your initial stationery that, depending on quantities this may not be possible and we may have to charge more per invitation for reprints. Stationery with foil details cannot be reprinted for quantities of less than 60 items due to the set up costs of the foil process even if the names that need changing are not in foil. If the stationery which needs reprinting has foil details anywhere on it then it cannot be reprinted unless the error was due to a mistake on Knots & Kisses part.
As some of our stationery is embellished and hand finished you may need to use more than one first class stamp when posting your stationery. We advise you check the royal mail website to confirm the postage you require before posting to your guests. Knots & Kisses cannot be held liable for any costs incurred through errors in postage of your stationery. Knots & Kisses cannot be held liable for any damage occurred during transit of your stationery. We will always do our utmost to ensure items are packaged securely, however if there is a problem please let us know immediately as all parcels are insured and we may be able to claim a refund. No claim can be made however without first having the items returned to us. We are reliant on Royal Mail’s and our couriers policies for missing parcels and may therefore need 15 days, as per Royal Mail’s & other couriers T’s & C’s in order for you to make a claim for any missing parcel.
Orders are subject to availability of materials. In the event of supply difficulties Knots & Kisses will inform you immediately to discuss alternative materials or designs. For orders that are printed in separate batches or split over a time period, there is always a possibility of colour variation or print discrepancy. This is due to items being printed using different equipment or ink batches. Whilst we would always endeavour to get an exact colour match, please be aware that there is a possibility that items may not be identical in respect of colour and print quality. This also applies to differences between samples and final printed items. Please note that as Table Plans and Guest Books are printed on to a different material to other stationery then slight colour discrepancies are likely. Payment for colour discrepancies WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. We would always advise ordering a few blank invitations when ordering so you do not need to order further invitations in a different print batch at a later date. The silk ribbons in our luxe ranges are hand-painted by our supplier – whilst every effort is made to get each order of silk ribbon the same shade, clients must be aware that one batch of silk fabric may ‘take’ exactly the same paint shade in a different way to another batch and so colour variations are a natural part of this process and ultimately what gives it such a beautiful finish.
All prices are subject to change without notice. Once your order has been confirmed and you have checked out, however, the prices are secure.

Knots & Kisses do however reserve the right to refuse any order or arrange rescheduling with you if, during exceptionally busy periods, we are unable to take on any further orders. You will of course receive a full refund in these instances.
Additional items, such as table plans and other reception stationery will be delivered at least 2 weeks prior to your wedding date, provided we have received all the information we need from you on time.
If you are ordering bespoke stationery the timescale may be larger, you will be advised when you order as to what the delivery schedule is likely to be. If you require a shorter delivery time, do let us know and we will try our best to meet your deadline. In very urgent cases we can offer an express service. This will, however, incur an additional cost of £100.

Our bespoke fees cover the cost of the design work involved in your bespoke order. Bespoke fees are non-refundable if any amount of the work has been completed. If you are ordering the ‘Tailoring Service’ you will be sent one initial design and are allowed one colour revision both via email in jpeg or pdf format. If you wish to receive a printed sample as well then this can be done at an additional cost of £25. If you are ordering Bespoke Design Fee 1 then you will be contacted for a full consultation to discuss your bespoke requirements. You will then receive an initial design proposal in pdf/jpeg format. If you are happy with the inital design proposal then you will then receive 1 physical sample pack of your stationery before you order. If you are not happy with your initial design proposal or want to make any design changes then you can have up to 2 further design amendments as part of your fee. Any further design amendments after this will be charged at £30 per amendment. Once you have placed your order you can then have up to 4 pdf proofs to finalise your wording – but no further design amendments can be made at this time. In the same way, if you are ordering Bespoke Design Fee 2 then you will be contacted for a full consultation to discuss your bespoke requirements. You will then receive an initial design proposal in pdf/jpeg format. If you are happy with the inital design proposal then you will then receive up to 2 physical samples of your stationery before you order … you can decide to use one of these samples for your reception stationery items if you so wish. If you are not happy with your initial design proposal or want to make any design changes then you can have up to 4 further design amendments as part of your fee. Any further design amendments after this will be charged at £30 per amendment. Once you have placed your order you can then have up to 4 pdf proofs to finalise your wording – but no further design amendments can be made at this time.
For Hire of Suitcase Table Plans payment is needed in full prior to continuing with the order. Prices are based on the hire for the table plans. Delivery to your venue, home or wedding planner is included if requested and is within a 30 mile radius of Knots & Kisses Home address. Responsibility for the return of the suitcases to Knots & Kisses is on the part of the client and will be arranged in advance of the order. Suitcases are given on a Hire purchase basis only. If any suitcase is damaged or not returned after your wedding an additional cost of £30.00 per suitcase will be charged and the client will be liable for this payment. Clients may keep the bespoke tags within the suitcase after the wedding if they would like to, as long as the suitcase, internal fabric and twine is returned.
When making an online payment using a Credit or Debit card, you confirm that the credit or debit card being used belongs to you. All prices are in UK Pound Sterling and are subject to change without notice. All prices include VAT. Delivery charges are not included.
Knots & Kisses will retain the legal ownership of the goods until full payment has been made by you and such payment has been received by us. Legal ownership of goods will revert to Knots & Kisses if any payments are refunded. Knots & Kisses reserves the right to decline any query or order at their discretion. Under no circumstance will Knots & Kisses provide credit to customers.
We have attempted to give explanations and sample examples of the services provided as clearly as possible to you on the website but we do not warrant that product descriptions, colours or other content available on the Website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Any product we may provide to you are for personal use only, you may not sell or re-sell any of the products you receive.
Knots & Kisses accepts no liability for the misuse of any information or product sold through this website. There shall be no condition or warranty, expressed or implied binding Knots & Kisses as to the quality of the goods supplied or that they will be suitable for any particular purpose or for use under any specific conditions. Under no circumstances whatsoever will any liability be accepted for any actions, damages or consequential loss arising in connection with any information, goods or material of any description supplied by Knots & Kisses.
All information, addresses, guest names etc. collected from you is confidential and will only be seen by Knots & Kisses and our printing partners if necessary. We will only ever ask you for the information we need for your order and shipping. Your information and data will be deleted by Knots & Kisses 1 year after the final job completes. This includes any address, guest lists and wording for your stationery. All emails will be deleted within 2 years of the final job completing. Invoices will be kept for 7 years as per tax regulations.
We retain the right to keep the design of your stationery, which may include some of your details, on our secure system in case we may need to use elements of the design for any future client enquiries. Your details will not be shared however with any third parties, this is purely for our own design use.
Knots & Kisses reserves the right to use samples of your stationery for photographs, portfolio and marketing purposes. This includes photographing and using them on social media and website, including them in sample packs and displaying them at wedding fairs and events. If you do not want us to use your samples for future marketing then please let us know.

1. As part of our styling packages and services we will undertake to hire in items from our trusted suppliers to use to style your wedding. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you are also agreeing to the terms and conditions of those companies for their hire items. Copies of those terms and conditions can be provided upon request.
2. The loss or damage to any goods which have been hired directly from Knots & Kisses or from our hire partners will be charged at full replacement value. You will be invoiced for any damages once these have been established after the wedding and invoices for damages will need to be paid within 14 days. If the invoice is not paid within 14 days then you will be liable for a daily fee of 10% of the cost of the goods per day subsequent to the 14 days to cover any loss of income from not being able to hire the item out again or style with those goods at another wedding or event.
3. We will always endeavour to provide our styling services and deliver items and set up to the timeline which has been agreed upon by both Knots & Kisses and the client in advance of the wedding during the consultation process. However, if we are unable to access the venue for some reason or other parties or the client delays the process in any way then this schedule may change. We will always try our best to have everything styled by the time agreed but cannot account for circumstances outside of our control.
4. Once your bespoke styling consultation and initial venue visit has taken place you will be sent a final quote for your booking and an invoice for a further 50% of the total remaining. This 50% deposit is non-refundable. Once receiving the deposit Knots & Kisses will block out the required time in their diary and not take any further bookings or enquiries for this time. Knots & Kisses will then also at this point contact our hire partners to book in any hire items which have been agreed upon and pay all of the required deposits for these items as well. Therefore, any cancellation of the booking will forfeit the deposit to cover hire deposits and loss of earnings.
5. The balance on your styling and design invoice will be due 6 weeks prior to the event. Any cancellations must be made in writing 6 weeks prior to the event. Any cancellation within this 6 weeks or failure to advise of cancellation will result in the full payment being required.
6. Our initial consultation fee of £100 is non-refundable but will be deducted from the total of your full design service quote if you proceed with booking.
